So much has happened in the past few weeks. Some pertinent highlights: I finished college, got a job in Alaska and started this blog.
Amidst the chaos of finals, work, visiting family, etc. etc. I have managed to collect a number of items to take along with me to the last frontier. The most important of these is my boyfriend Jake.
Tomorrow, we will set out on a little over two week-long road trip ending in Denali National Park, Alaska, where we will call home for the next three months.
Until we arrive in Denali, our abode will be the bed of a Toyota Tundra. Since we found out we got the jobs in Alaska only two weeks before we were to leave, Jake assembled this cozy setup in record timing. He built this little nest equipped with cabinets, drawers, lights, plenty of storage space, a bed, and a fishing rod holder. It’ll be the perfect nest for us to crawl into after a day of exploring.
I can hardly wait to be out on the open road with no worries, good company, and the promise of adventure.
Many updates to come!
